Keynote speaker an d trainer Lenell Geter new book "Overcome, Succeed and Prosper" helps people by encouraging personal development, increasing productivity and promoting character development. He helps people achieve their goals and dreams by helping them to develop effective methods to overcome obstacles that impede their progress. As your keynote speaker, Lenell delivers practical methods tempered with humor. As a seminar presenter, he inspires participants to overcome problems and find solutions--despite adversity.

In 1982, he had just begun a career as an engineer in Greenville, Texas when during his short stay he was wrongfully charged, convicted, and sentenced to life imprisonment for a crime he did not commit. He spent sixteen months in prison before his name was cleared of wrongdoing. CBS's 60 Minutes did a key segment on his plight in 1984, and in February of 1987, CBS Television aired "Guilty of Innocence: the Lenell Ge ter Story," a major motion picture for television.

The success of an organization, business, church group or family is reflected in how effective they are when confronting obstacles. The roads to achieve your desired outcome usually have a single commonality - obstacles. Lenell Geter learned the secrets to becoming an overcomer when a seemingly insurmountable obstacle, his Texas Nightmare, challenged his future and the future of his family. People handle obstacles differently - The difference between success and failure depends directly on the methods used to overcome these obstacles.

Specifically, the desire of organizations, persons or families is for its members to have a quality of life characterized by these goals:

1. To love humanity, God and live a righteous life
2. To be happy, safe and secure
3. To avoid drugs and violence
4. To get a quality education
5. To pursue dreams in a satisfying career
6. To be married, if desired
7. To rear respectable children, and
8. To demonstrate these values practically in their lives
